Owned and run by knowledgable and skilled member artists, Stonehouse showcases and sells quality Australian art and craft
One of the longest established art and craft co-operatives in Australia, Stonehouse was founded in 1972 by 8 like-minded potters wanting to promote ceramics.
Today, it continues to thrive with 18 diverse members and invited artists showcasing and selling beautiful ceramics, textiles, woodwork, glass, jewellery and furniture in the Stonehouse Gallery & Shop in Warrandyte.
Stonehouse Gallery is dedicated to the support and promotion of Australian hand made craft and art, whether sculptural, functional or decorative, and it prides itself on being able to provide a rare venue for the showcasing of works by many dedicated local and Australian artists.
The bright and airy Gallery & Shop is situated in the stunning historic Gospel Chapel. And visitors are able to speak to member artists every day and there are often opportunities to watch master craftspeople at work.
With ample parking and full wheelchair access it’s easy to visit Stonehouse for a unique experience to remember.
